The song sounds decent, but I can't see myself supporting this girl when we have both Kelly Clarkson & P!nk who dominate the little pop-rock niche she's trying to get into and are infinitely better looking than Allison(though Kelly could drop a few).
I just feel like she should change her name to Marge and go smoke ciggies and play bingo down at St. Mary's on Thursday evening.

I'm 95% sure this demo is at least a year old, maybe two; someone on my lj friends list linked me to it a couple of months ago.
It's a cool enough song but I'm bearing in mind that this is old, and only a fraction of her real potential. Her voice sounds so much fuller and richer now than it does on this demo (live and recorded - for anyone who hasn't, check out some of her studio versions whenever you get a chance...they're all good but I especially recommend Someone to Watch Over Me, Cry Baby, and her Slow Ride duet with Adam). Take It or Leave It is actually too lightweight for her now.
I can see a label taking her in one of two directions, the Pink/Kelly route or the Miley/Demi route. I much prefer Allison follow the Pink/Kelly mold, but she's so young I wouldn't be surprised if someone tries to cash in on that young t(w)een market with her. Miley even said after appearing on the show that Allison was her favorite this year. Allison >>>>>>> all day long in terms of talent but I can see the tie-in.
And Solutionz, I could be wrong but I think you might be confusing the word 'thick' with 'fat' and that is why you're defensive? Neither Allison nor Jordin is fat by any means IMO, but they are both curvy and a lot of people I know use 'thick' as a way to describe curvy ladies, often as a compliment even. That's just the folks I hang out with though.
