Well why doesn't she talk about her transition then and make others more accepting?

A little naive. I hope she stays off of social media for the next 80 hours. The memes are gonna be fire.

What a sad group of people. None of this was funny or necessary
Good on Gaga for tweeting her support. She has been preaching about this WELL before Born This Way and well before all the other popstars jumped on the pro-LGBT, love yourself bandwagon. She's not the kind of pop star who just takes pictures with gays or make herself look accepting or makes generic empowerment anthems that she only paints as pro-LGBT when it benefits her--she makes speeches about these issues, she makes FOUNDATIONS about these issues, she wrote the first pop song to have "transgendered" in the lyrics and has always been sincere and consistent with her support, not just when it is convenient, socially acceptable, or profitable. So no, she isn't and has never "pandered" to LGBT issues--she was one of the biggest and most active trailblazers in a long line of people who have slowly raised awareness for LGBT issues. The only naiveté I see is in these ignorant comments that seek but fail to downplay what Lady Gaga has been and will be doing for many years to come.
