So my initial thoughts for the Apple Watch are as follows now that I've been using it for 6 hours.
Whoa! I am SLAYED by this AppleWatch way more than I could've ever reasonably expected. I used it everywhere. To swipe in at the gym, at starbucks, in a cab and at dwayne reade. I could swipe through songs without lugging my phone out and I also was texting people seemlessly using Siri. Somehow she works better on the watch than she does the phone. This watch really is a bigger deal than Apple sold it as. I'm pleasantly surprised.
I wear a watch for fashion and the apple watch is ugly as ****. (and this is coming from an apple fanboy who buys anything)
I'm not a watch lover because I do think most watches are hideous like most luxury watches today. They are ostentatious. I like that the Apple Watch is somewhat understated and beautiful at the same time. However, it is really functional too. Way more than I was expecting. You haven't been using the watch. No, i've tried one in the shop. The got released here yesterday and i went down to have a look and they just didn't do anything for me. The design, the digital screen, just everything about it is ugly. Plus i have a tiny wrist and it's too bulky for me.
I got mine this morning. It definitely lives up to its expectations. The force touch is great, as are the health kit features and the implementation of the notifications. I can't wait to get my wireless headphones tomorrow so that I can go on a run without needing my iPhone
