Discussion: Question about the Global Release Date

So it's been confirmed that every album/single will be released on Friday starting July 10th but considering the UK has a different release strategy to other countries, will it change so that singles are released on the exact same day everywhere or will we still have to wait months until it's released here?

I don't understand the question but I don't see how the new global release day could affect the UK release strategy in any form.

With albums they'll no longer be released different days since we will all be under the same day.

With singles that are on pre-order, I'm sure they'll continue. But they'll be released on a Friday too, whether it's the same Friday or a Friday next month.

I'm so pissed they aren't stopping the pre-order thing. That encourages piracy more than other stuff tbh.
