I figured I'd spread some positivity (why is spell check saying I spelled this wrong?) around this site since it can get a little personal sometimes. This thread is to celebrate the things you like about this forum - and no it's not kissing ass. For whatever reason out of all of the music forums on the web we actively keep posting on this one so tell us why.

I'll start the discussion:

- I like the layout of the forum. I know the upgrade looks way better, but as of now even with this set up its FAR better than most other forums on the web. I don't join forums if they have bad layouts so kudos to ATRL on that

- General music forum. I like that this forum isn't centered around just one artist and it's a discussion about pop culture as a whole.

- More recently I've been getting my life from a few members some I can live without of course but there are some seriously funny people on here that make my day so much better. Laughter is the best medicine so after dealing with crappy people IRL it's nice to talk to nice people on here

What about you?

The messiness and kiiiis I get from some threads/posts

Entertainment value. People are nice and friendly. Not just all about music you can talk about films and other things and have deep conversations with people most of the time. I really enjoy this site.

Random Thoughts.

Well not everybody but most of who i have come across are

I really love the strong community we have. There are so many active users on here, all with different personalities, backgrounds and interests, and it's fun getting to know all of them. Of course, I love the music/celebrity discussions as well, but that should go without saying!

The posters are really funny. I cackle down at peoples posts all the time. I like how there's such a huge community and the site is always so active. Like you could log in at 3am and there would still be threads being updated like every minute.

I also like how there's always so much to talk about because everyone has different interests and threads are made about every topic under the sun.

The messy threads.

It's the only place to talk about music without any of the following killing your buzz

-someone judging you for talking about music
-someone judging you for talking about pop music
-someone judging you for not talking about rock or hip hop music
-someone interrupting you to talk about sports, shopping or last night's hookup that didn't call

People are funny.

This is true!

- How many people there are: This is easily the most popular forum I've been on. There's so many members and they're all very active, so there's always something to see, read, reply to, etc.
- How it's not just discussions: There's also cool stuff like Your Top Ten + Games, which are nearly completely different from the rest of the site, and they're also places where you're truly in control of your own threads and you can just pretty much do what you want (that's inside the rules, of course.) Both areas are pretty overlooked but oh well, more fun for us.
- The messiness: It's so incredibly entertaining and really is the heart of the whole forum.

There's a lot I like about ATRL, really. These are just the 3 main things that come to mind. There's also obviously some flaws about the site, but I'm pretty sure there's no perfect one out there to begin with.
