It looks that way now. But just go back and watch Episode 4 and think about the fact that it was ****ing 1977 and there weren't many movies like it. Of course, since then a shitload of movies have borrowed from Star Wars or were done much better now that technology has improved. I remember being a kid and going to watch Episode 1 and loving it, I thought the special effects were out of this world. I've only gotten that same impression with Lords Of The Rings: The Two Towers and Avatar.

If you stan for Kim Kardashian (of all people), then you have bigger things to worry about than Lady Godga

Gollum in The Two Towers is still the most jaw-dropping effects moment I can remember. When I realized he was all CGI I was just like How.
