Many were upset by how the actors spoke of the romance and categorizing the woman as promiscuous for simply choosing one man over others. Some called it “unbelievable,” others labeled it “****-shaming” and “appalling,” while most came to the consensus it was sexist and misogynistic. On social media, some even vowed to not see the highly-anticipated film.
Horrible joke but I'm sure it wasn't meant to be hurtful. It would have been great if Scarlett was there, she probably would've dragged both of them, especially Renner's irrelevant character, Eagle Eye or whatever he is.
The "jokes" were of bad taste but people were doing the most. Chris Evans has spoken against ****-shaming before
