Jay-Z is more of a investor than he is an entrepreneur. He has a team of agents/managers/MBA recipients who guided him through most of his major business decisions.
The whole image of him being some mastermind businessman is all just good marketing.
Yeah, a lot of artists are guilty of having people behind them make decisions, while screaming they are businessmen from the rooftops. Having an investment portfolio and having a bunch of endorsements is not running a business. I think Nicki is most guilty of that as of late.
