I feel like it's more complicated than we think. I figure they have to contact Spotify, YouTube, and other streaming sites to get 100% accurate totals, which might take time to get. IDK.
I mean, they sure wasted no time making sure C2C was certified.

I'm sure it is, especially with streaming, but I mean we have the sales and yet, for example, Poker Face's certification still indicates it's only sold 5,000,000 copies when we know for a fact through Billboard that it's already over 7,000,000.
And I'm so, so incredibly proud of and happy for her for winning the first Icon Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame. It's so nice when she's recognized for her artistry.

Gaga's SNL was flawless and her vocal performances (Applause acoustic on Sukkiri, Gypsy on AMPYA, DWUW on Alan Carr and the AMA's, Lush Life on PBS, Bang Bang, etc.) have been so on point in the ARTPOP and Cheek to Cheek eras and then top top it off with her Grammy win and performance and then the best vocal performance of her career at the Oscars...and then the AHS news. What an amazing run lately
