They'd spent the entire interview discussing the movie, then the interviewer (who, by the way, is notorious for pushing sensitive subjects in celebrity interviews) tried to bring up his history with drugs and crime for no reason. I actually think he handled the situation really professionally and just pulled the plug on the interview before it escalated. The thing is, he's been extremely open about his troubled past in many interviews previously, I guess he just got pissed off in this particular one because he was there specifically to promote a completely unrelated movie.

The reporter was being completely unprofessional. He was asking him about things that were completely unrelated to why he was there and after going on with it for a little bit RDJ was not having it. Also that was hardly assault, more like a pat on the back or "nice try" in trying to find a headline for the next day.

I mean he was annoying and the flow of his interview wasn't even smooth. The atmosphere he's giving to RDJ was like he is under contract to finish the interview. I mean this guy probably thinking RDJ Is on a job interview when he should be the one who should feel obligated to make her "guests" feel comfortable. He's supposed to act like a host, RDJ is blessing him with his presence. Can't believe this guy never took a hint or something.
