I am going to catch some hate with my comment but young women need to be smarter then this. It is not only spring break it is on campus at frat and house parties. They get passed out drunk around a ton of guys that are also very drunk and horny and what do you think is going to happen?

I am not blaming the victim I am just saying they need to be aware of their situation, have a friend with them or a group of friends don't get left alone. It's sad but that's how it is and it's not something new this has been happening for a very long time.

It's too bad they don't arrest the guys filming and people watching doing nothing to stop it.

Uhh consent is kinda the deciding factor in a rape case. If no consent was given, then you are fully liable for the **** that gets dealt to you. There is no gray area in this matter.

You can continue to live in your dream world or you can enter the real world where bad people do bad things to other people.

There are a lot of guys out there that are going to rape a defenseless passed out girl how hard is it to comprehend that the girl should not put herself in that position? This is not victim blaming it is statistics. How can she be accountable for herself if she is passed out?

In no way am I saying she should be, deserves to be or will be raped I am saying the likelihood of rape is going to skyrocket if she end up passed out drunk.

This is the sad world we live in.

My logic is fine when applied to the real world that we live in, maybe you should step in to it and open your eyes.

Please get a grip, sir. The fact that we live in a world where there are rapist does not exclude said rapists for their wrong actions. The problem here isn't that victims are drinking to the point of passing out, it's that predators are knowingly seeking out people that are incapacitated and others are watching on without interference. Don't come here and write a bunch of nothing and tell me to "live in the real world." I live in the real world, in fact I live on a college campus where statistics of rape and sexual assault are high.

Rape is rape. The victim, NOT just women, are never to blame. Blaming the victim is taking attention away from the problem.

Yes because somewhere, I don't know where, you read that I am excusing the rapists. I am a realist and predators are out there so continue to live in a fantasy world where people do the right thing all the time. Don't take any precautions when you go out, in fact go out alone and get passed out drunk, without friends to protect you, some random stranger will surely watch over you because in your world they won't watch without interference.

On the other hand you might go out with a group of friends, not get passed out drunk but if you do, one of them will take care of you and make sure no one rapes you. See how acting responsible keeps the predators away?

I am not blaming the victim I am saying don't make yourself an easy target and become a victim.
