The delusion continues. Phrases can be "familiar" without being "cliche." Cliche refers to overused language that is evacuated of meaning/depth because it's so overused. The Taylor quotes above are not cliches ("my broken heart"), they're just not startlingly original. Here are some "familiar", unoriginal phrases from DH:

- choose carefully
- in the palm of your hands
- play with magic
- a perfect storm
- capable of anything
- your one and only

And let's not look at the rap

It's funny how people have no problem with Blank Space having a lot of cliches in it, yet will endlessly criticize Roar having cliches in it
