I really wanted to do a UK girls' debut rate. I want Gabrielle Aplin's English Rain and maybe Birdy's Birdy but I guess I need to think of two or three more. Not sure what I'd call it though. Its kind of like a spin-off of conatus' sophomore rates but instead its debuts.

I would like to do one for 2000's alternative music. I was thinking of using the Pitchfork's Top 500 tracks of the 2000s. I could use the top 75 in full or exclude the urban/pop tracks, selecting the more alternative ones for the rate (perhaps even including other indie classics that might have been snubbed by P4K).

It would be Warrior vs. Lotus vs. The Spirit Indestructible and there was another one but I can't remember. Two of the artists represented have a significant fanbase on this forum so it should get some attention and it's an interesting mix of music. At least this way a mainstream pop rate will incorporate some lesser known albums.

BUT - I was thinking of a Checking In on the Old Girls rate - albums by females who first popped off in 00-01 - could work. TSI/Girl on Fire/The Truth About Love. How does that sound?
