Less than 2% of Americans identify as gay, but over 8% admit to have had sex with the same gender and 11% admit to have same sex attraction. Now let's factor in that gay/bi people are often lying and scared to the truth. How many more people are there?

That's why in scientific studies they use MSM instead of gay/bi for men. The men refuse to call themselves gay/bi and insist they're straight at medical offices.

Obviously no one knows. What a dumb thread. I mean from everyone I know at high school who is / could have been gay / lesbian, it'd be like a one out of fifteen.

I think it also varies depending on the country. Idk what it is, but there are very few gay people in my country compared to some others.

I don't believe any of those studies, I think it could go up to 50% worldwide, people in this day and age are just too afraid to admit it and are brainwashed by society. I really do believe that everybody is born bi, but the way they get raised as a child influences them.

I believe that one in ten/nine people is gay or bisexual but many of them have heterosexual lifestyles.
