Brenda Song has booked a regular role on the NBC comedy pilot Take It From Us, from Greg Malins.
Described as a love story told in flashbacks in 1990s New York, the show is about a couple who tell their son the lessons they learned growing up in the ’90s in the hope that he and his fiancée can avoid making the same mistakes.
Song will play Caitlin, who works in a bookstore/coffee bar. She grew up all over the world because her parents were humanitarian aid workers — which is a fancy way to say she grew up mostly in the jungle. She is still trying to adjust to life in civilization.
