Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger haven't exactly broken up, but they're not really together, either.
Multiple sources exclusively confirm to E! News that the young Hollywood couple have chosen to take a "break" after dating for nearly five months.
This news may not come as a complete shock to fans, who have witnessed the recent rockiness in their relationship. Things seemed to be smooth sailing for the once-inseparable duo, but things changed when Patrick took his Spring Break trip to Cabo San Lucas in March, where he was photographed getting a little too close for comfort with a girl that wasn't Miley.
Schwarzenegger found himself in hot water over the photos that surfaced showing him and a bikini-clad Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority sister getting handsy in Mexico, and took to social media at the time to clear the air and defend himself.
"Omg. It's one of my best friends girlfriend..." he tweeted Monday afternoon. "Would NEVER do anything against my GF."
