Getting the role was apparently hard for her, as she told the magazine that finding work in Hollywood "really is a problem" due to her beauty, she says. "I have to be blunt." She compared herself to other young actresses like Scarlett and Natalie, saying, "I just want an opportunity. If you don't like the audition, then don't hire me! But if you don't want to even see me — that's hurtful." It would be one thing if Jess complained about being stereotyped due to her high-profile relationship, but it might be a little far-fetched to complain about being too beautiful in a town full of gorgeous women.
