The Navy in 2014: DIL was performed on the biggest music show on earth (GRAMMYS) ... it should've sold more.
The Navy in 2015: 45S was only performed once (GRAMMYS)... that justifies why it's under performing.
The double standards...

FFS is underperforming because it's an acoustic song, I think. There are absolutely no acoustic songs smashing in 2015. The sound of the song is so unlike any Rihanna single and any other single at the moment for that matter.

It's a polarizing song. DIL = not polarizing. Neither is XO.

Cause she had to tone down her image for the movie... and having a sex, drugs, and/or profanity laced song out at the same time as Rih was promoting a "kids" movie would not of been a smart move. 45S was the first single for that reason. It's not that hard to understand, really.

...but Queen Hillary could save AO2...it has that presidential campaign song vibe. Imagine Hillary walking out on stage during her acceptance speech at the DNC when she becomes the first female democratic nominee with AO2 blasting in the background! Uber-feminist Beyonce would seethe!
