Disney has stopped releasing 3D Blu-rays and started to EXCLUSIVELY release them through digital streaming services. It's very disappointing. I collect Blu-rays and this trend sucks.

I will NEVER buy a digital film. I buy my absolute favorite films on Blu-ray so I always have them in the best quality possible but if they stop releasing Blu-rays, I stop paying, period. I'm not paying $20 for a heavily compressed, DRM riddled piece of ****. I like being able to rip the 40GB file straight off the disc and watch it on my RMBP.

I'm all for technological advances but the day that physical media ends will be a very sad day. Thankfully illegal downloading will always exist.

According to an HMM article, a Fox spokesperson confirmed that this move wasn't due to a weakness in the physical media market.

Not that I specifically collect The Simpsons (I do love the show), but I am so over digital taking over physical forms of everything.

I like having physical CD's and DVD's. A ****** little file or app that my dumbass would probably accidentally delete is not the same!
