There's a lot of horror films that had really great ideas but were not really executed properly such as I Know What You Did Summer. Aside from the iconic chase scene (Helen's) the movie fell flat. The sequel however was better. I'm really not a big fan of the idea of remaking something that doesn't need to be remade such as the Nightmare remake or Halloween for instance but i think some films in this genre deserve a proper chance. What horror film do you think should get a remake?

Such an underrated horror film. A lot of people hate on the sequel as well but it's fun.

I Know What You Did Summer has a lot of 90s slasher charm to it, though. That's what makes it so good.

Hellraiser (1987) desperately needs a remake. Clive Barker has been making one, but I haven't heard about it in a while.

I don't hate the film actually i just think it has a lot of faults but i do enjoy it. And Hellraiser is a great film. I think a remake could be good as long as Clive Barker has full control and it's not a just put his name on this project thing i'd be here for it.

A 'Suspiria' remake would be cool too

Clive confirmed that he wrote a screenplay for the remake, and that Doug Bradley would be returning as Pinhead, but that was in 2014. I'm not sure if they are still working on the project, or if it's at a standstill, but it'll be great once things come to fruition.

Also, have you seen the 1986 film, Critters? I'd love to see a remake of that, especially since Gremlins aren't around to sabotage it this time. but seriously, that movie was a lot of fun and has potential.

I'm so upset about the Poltergeist remake. It looks like it's going to be terrible.

Yes i actually have. I saw it a long time ago i need to rewatch it. And yeah it does look awful to an extent. Totally a movie that did not need a remake but i guess we'll see when it comes out.

Candyman needs a remake and also Valentine even though it came out 2001.

A Wishmaster remake please.

I really enjoyed Valentine. It was a fun slasher. I think a remake would be cool. I don't think Candyman needs one just due to it's perfect dark setting and Tony Todd's performance. I couldn't see anyone else playing the Candyman.

I know there was like some Straight-To-DVD one recently, but that doesn't count. Child's Play need a good proper remake.
