The 30s jazz era setting, the music and the surrealism could create a really interesting project for her. Especially if they pushed it further with a contemporary edge a la Baz Luhrman's Great Gatsby. Where they'd go with the narrative would be intriguing - is it a classic tale of mobsters and flapper girls, or is it way more surreal like Who Framed Roger Rabbit and to a degree the Lego Movie?
The problem they face is who the hell the film is for. I find it hard to imagine it working for mainstream audiences in 2016+. Is it better suited as an artsy musical short with limited release, maybe put on YouTube or Netflix?
It'd be a good test for her to really stretch her jazz/theatrical skills in long-form.
I'd be here for it because it would show her versatility, skill at voice acting, demolish the air of pretension people believe she has and also enable her to use her jazz vocals in an upbeat '30s dance type song or two. But I don't think it'll happen because she has a lot coming up this year, although it may not be released for a year or teo yet since they weren't even sure it wod be animated fully or half live action in that email, were they?
And smh at how they said Gaga was too lame for Spiderman. I love the films but the soundtrack flopped and was terrible so they could have used Gaga for an NYC themed anthem ala Marry The Night.
+ I'm pretty sure Betty Boop has been closely tied to 40s-era sexism so it might not be the best image to associate Gaga with, even if they're trying a new take on the character.
I don't think it would have been a NDA, Madeon knows if he acknowledged that songs existence his twitter mentions would be flooded with people asking him to leak it
I still can't get over DJWS' Tea trolling on April Fools' Day.
Reminds me of when him and Tara would give Gaga heart attacks tweeting '@ladygaga omg applause leaked in full and HQ!!!!' and would post links of kid's shows edited to include the three of their faces singing Applause lyrics with no sound.
Lol what's the first word? _ _ _ _ is it's played Just Dance, epic slayage.
We should all play a drunk hangman tbh.
Well

And then in the store, while REdloaded, was play, paeple stud up on their taeblex, and yellwed, HAILD THEE QWUENNS, and oeple were dancing everywhere, want to buy ARTPOP and then Katyp ertty song played and pleplo forgot GAga, just like whend apliose came out.
And then in the store, while Reloaded was playing, people stood up on their table, and yelled, HAIL THE QUEEN and people were dancing everywhere, want to buy ARTPOP, and then Katy Perry song played and people forgot Gaga, just like when Applause came out.
So I would guess
"Then they played Just Dance, epic slayage"
And mess @ Madeon's denial of Tinnitus existence. I wonder if, as a part of the breakdown of managment, Gaga and producers are forbidden from releasing or talking about any music made pre-breakup that went unreleased? Sounds like something Troy would do considering he sold her whole company without telling her.
I honestly feel like it was an idea of a track that she wanted madeon to produce and it never happened.
I ran a marathon today and I played a Gaga playlist the entire thing
Go you!
On another note, I'd love Gaga to start doing really immersive concerts (perhaps even sans opening acts). The trap tracks + PetGa voiceovers were great during artRAVE but it could totally have been taken one step further. Obviously we don't know the direction of the next album or tour but how could would it be if she had 50's Muzak playing and between every song or few; a video interlude of her as a very Gaga 50's secretary saying **** like "Hi, you've called Lady Gaga...hold please." or "Thanks folks - and once again, welcome to the ___ ball!". Some super cheesy parody 50's/60's ads would be super awesome as well. Think her AMA's 2013 performance intro. She could even endorse real brands to get some advertisement coin whilst sticking to a theme.
It adds to the cohesiveness of the show for sure - it made the artRAVE look a lot more thematic, and I'm sure could have helped the audience better understand what was going on during the BTWB.

I love this idea. Like with Absolut sponsoring the artRAVE, she could have made some corny 50's vid featuring absolut and her making a drink or something.
I hope she does this. I hope some popstar does this at their shows if we don't get it from Gaga, it'd be awesome.
The staging and lighting was PHENOMENAL. The mixing, setlist and instrumentation great and the plot / tying theme just about right for an average audience (if not a little bit undercooked or forgotten toward the end).
