True but it was still the record setting third #1 lead single from Teenage Dream: The Complete Confection. If we're not counting it as the 6th #1 from Teenage Dream then it HAS to be a lead single.
Style even coming close to Teenage Dream in that poll tho The Katy hate bandwagon is so real on ATRL. But the GP decide again, TD #1, Style #6

Firework and Dark Horse went #1. Why can Katy send her post-album third singles to #1 yet Taylor can't even crack Top 5? I thought Taylor was the new Queen of Pop or smth.
At the end of the day, Taylor sold out, whereas Katy Perry CHOSE pop as the genre that she wanted to break through with. Taylor merely decided to flip flop over to Pop when it suited her.

DH went #1 before a music video was released, Style couldn't crack Top 5 even with a music video + being the "Queen of Pop" + having a PROVEN fanbase with her album sales + having 2 previous megahits + being one of the best songs on the album.

Ew @ people always bringing up that album. That was a cute little indie side project under a different name. Her debut was OOTB and her debut single was IKAG. She was doing pop since like 2004 with The Matrix.
