They do it so people like you can get bothered but it and make a thread about it and they get the attention they crave so badly online

If it's somewhere like Tumblr, it's good for easily navigating a person's blog.
But on ATRL, it is very try-hard and desperate.

It's kind of Vin's thing here and it comes off too try hard when anyone else does it. On other forums I've been on, everyone formatted like this (with a greeting or a thanks for the reply at the beginning and a tag.)
