Unlike the other celebs who start labels, however, Louis might actually be good at it. He's the one who found 5SOS. Plus it's just smart for boy/girl group members to have contingency plans.

Everything he does is about money. I doubt he'll like any of the artists he signs or really support them once they're passed being profitable.

Look, he needs a way to keep the coins going once the groups seeing as he clearly won't have a solo career. More power to him for trying.

Problem is I see this as nothing more than a vanity project to give the illusion he's just as powerful as the other boys. It'll be that much harder of a fall when it all falls apart a few years from now. Then what's he gonna do.

Smart move for him.

This will likely accelerate him leaving 1D too. He will be making all these managerial decisions at his label and find he has more creative control over the acts signed to his label, than he himself has as a member of 1D. He could be the new Simon Cowell in a few years from now, if it all works out.
