Madonna. MJ is iconic and stuff but he also did a lot of bad things and that kinda makes him more infamous than anything.

Michael Jackson is more iconic than Madonna.

Thriller is more iconic than Madonna.

Bad is more iconic than Madonna.

MJ transcends race, gender, sex, etc. I know many black/straight people that couldn't name a single song by Madonna. Like, there really should be no comparison.

Yeah you have to be kidding with that ridiculous statement. If you are going to try to prove your point at least keep the delusion level down a bit. Everyone knows Madonna's music, she was the one who just performed at the SuperBowl a few years ago after all.

I'd say MJ has more iconic albums but Madonna has more iconic singles and less actual negative controversy attached to her. It is also hard to say because we won't really know until Madonna dies tbh because that is when all of the sins of the past and declining careers are wiped from the record.

He's right. My friends wouldn't be able to name a single Madonna song but would be able to name multiple Michael songs. It's just how it is
