Her 'power' was boosted by a ClearChannel Radio Deal. As I said, this underperformance shows her power without lots of airplay or promotion.
+ didn't the HOME tracks struggle to reach T100/T200 on iTunes when the Soundtrack was released? I mean, she's just not a digital force this era. Not trying to 'drag'. Few less days of a whole week or not, 24k is embarrassing for a song with a music video out on VEVO, in commercials, from a major Pop Star, and that received discussion online in music.
Applause stopped selling like one year ago. So going by you logic 45S will sell like 10 mil WW in 2 years after release?
Fyi Gaga did two performances during Applause's PEAK and 2 performances when the song was out of top 10 in US and two performances in Japan in December.

Yes because 10 M airplay so far is a big boost. Ffs wasnt that supported either and it still had longevity.

I think she's gonna scrap this album entirely and start anew. This is why there is no release date as of yet. Clearly, they are re-thinking this whole era and I wouldn't be surprised if she just took another break till November and droped her completely new, re-vamped album then. Yes, commercially she's fading and she's past her peak but I think one good song could change that and slow down the process, and potentially give her another #1. D:
