Right Like at this point, her looking ugly and trash is basic if anything because she's done it so many times.
She gets away with it tho . If any other artist looks like trash they get dragged, with gaga it's normal. Like, "oh, she decided to not give any ****s today". Or "it's gaga of course she's wearing that". She gets a pass for being/looking messy because it's part of her persona.
Still pressed about Gaga's BNA snub, "Bad Romance" not getting a general field nomination and Interscope not submitting "The Edge of Glory" for nominations.
Instead of submitting "Born" or "Edge" for Record of the Year, Gaga's label inexplicably submitted "Judas" and "You and I," two songs that were widely-panned and not nearly as big on radio.
I'm okay with You & I getting a nomination, because Gaga had sole writing credits on it iirc, but the lack of TEOG support.... how did her team do that perfect song dust so many times???? Promo single instead of a real single, terrible video, no nominations...
Weird how ARTPOP is beginning to look like a success in comparison to other pop girl eras that have come after it. These huge single / airplay artists, hailed more relevant that Gaga, after releasing six tracks this year, having yet to match Applause's top 10 chart run with them six tracks combined.

I swear! The Fame (the song) and The Fame (the album) are like a mantra to her career. She barely had any real money, and honestly wasn't famous at all. She was really speaking on things that she wasn't living, but just imagining and they ended up coming true for her. It's like the album spoke her career into existence.
