I Never Learn & Wounded Rhymes are both basically masterpieces. And the good thing about them is that they benefit each other as mirrors, sort of. Wounded Rhymes is a lot more intriguing, thoughtful and upbeat while I Never Learn is very meditative and melancholy. Great artist.

It makes it really clear why so many singers meet tragic ends. Like - you have to perform these songs that you are known for, that people love, that literally bring back the worst and you have to fight through those battles all over again. Ugh.

!!!!! YES! That's exactly what I thought when I first saw that video. idk, it just made me realize how hard it must be to have to revisit the worst parts of your life every night.

Ever since she died a lot of her songs became sad to me. This one too. And especially You're Wondering Now which I think was the last song she ever performed.

It isn't shocking that Amy Winehouse died when everytime she had to tour, she had to perform songs like Love Is A Losing Game, Back to Black, Wake Up Alone, Some Unholy War. Like that can destroy absolutely anyone's spirit. My poor b should have just retired instead of keep on trying.

That song is even more powerful live btw - "Smother." The live ambiance really wallows around and sulks between her vocals, I should look into more live performances.

I love all of Lykke Li's albums but I just can't listen to her more than once a month or so. I don't know what it is but I just can't get into her like I could with Lana. Something's lacking.

The other woman is extremely depressing stop. FMWUTT is not very depressing but it's no the only song on the album.

There's a few other artists I listen to who have hard times getting through certain songs live and I'm genuinely curious what it feels like in their position.

I have a hard time telling another person about the worst I've felt without losing it, I cant comprehend those words being your identity. Like, what you're known for.

Her voice is so angelic live. She has some great performances of Tomorrow as well floating around.

I guess it is a good thing GaGa never made Speechless a single. Apparently she'll never perform it again since so many of the emotions around that are about her relationship with Luc (don't believe those lies about her dad lol).

Just like Madonna has only performed Take A Bow once because she feels like it is saying goodbye to everyone and everything she has achieved this far in her life.
