All the original characters ftom the first film are returning including: Luke, Leia, R2D2 and C-3PO. Yoda, Obi-Won Kinobi, Vader and the Emperor all died so they can't return. What other "characters" do you mean? The movie doesn't come out for another eight months so it's much too soon to just give you everything in a trailer. They are spilling more with each mini trailer. In the first trailer we didn't get to see any of the original characters. In this one we hear Luke's voice, and see R2D2, Chewy and Han. That's a big step up from the last one.
This movie is gonna blow every other film of this year out of the water
