What is your city/state fare? Do you even have train/buses where you live, I know some of you on atrl don't live in a big city

It costs me £1.65 to get from my house to the center of the town where I live, and then a further £2.95 on the train to get to the nearest city. I have a railcard, though, and without that, the train would cost me £4.50. And that's just a one-way ticket.

When I lived in DC/MD, the trains there operated on a tiered system, so the cost would depen don how far and what time you traveled. You could pay as little as $2.00 or as much as $6.00, one way.

Guess what. I live in a wealthy city with 70,000 people, and we don't have a bus Because everybody is rich and have cars. No one needs a bus here. Indianapolis has a bus however, because poor people live there

EVERY city has the wealthy and poverty don't come here pretending otherwise. A bus is not for "poor" people either

I use public transportation, well the metro, because the roads get really crowded and this gets me to places faster and I don't want to be stuck in traffic.

On topic it's like 3 dollars to get from my usual station till the one across town in the gold section of the metro, I think thats good

NYC is a "special city" in US, as well as Chicago and Boston, where it's much more convenient to drive a car. I live in a typical American state
Even if I was rich in NYC, I would take public transportation, in particular, the subway. Very convenient and fast!

It is a different case if you live outside America, like Dubai. I bet their subway is cool
