Products you call by their brands?
As discussed briefly in the 'Weird smells you like thread', which products do you call by their brand name, rather than their description?
Examples of ones for me are Hoover for a vacuum cleaner and Velcro for
hook-and-loop fastener
.

Coke. Even if it's pepsi, it's coke. I've never heard anyone say "could I please get a cola?"

Zipper (clasp locker)

No, they're actually called sterile strips
and this entire thread seems so pointless

What thread isn't pointless if you REALLY think about it?
I find it entertaining tbh.

Q-tip instead of cotton swab
Kleenex instead of tissue
Bounce Sheets instead of static free things... what is the actual name for those things anyway? Anti static fabric softening sheets?
Windex instead of glass cleaner
