Being controversial and grabbing people's attention and/or having them talking about her personal life does NOT equal her being desperate for attention... ANY publicity is good publicity. I clearly know Ciara is not a trash talker but her being a little edgier and feistier and interesting personally could do make her more successful, it will get more buzz around her name. To be on TMZ and other media outlets every once in a while for something spicy would NOT be a bad thing.

Unlike the other B/C-liters on this show, Ciara actually has something to lose if she is too controversial and just talking trash. There's nothing wrong with not wanting all your business out there and being nice about things.

Ciara is already bashed enough and for no reason too. If anything staying away from controversy will help her.

Also that interview you saw isn't the full thing. She also talks more about what's been going on and they asked her about the Rihanna situation.
