While it would be good for visibility, I don't think you could ask of someone to disclose that for the sake of being a PSA. They would go from whoever they were to "The Celebrity with HIV" and that's not something you'd want to be known for.

Every time I've heard Magic mentioned in the last several years it's been because of his status and/or his movie chain. For an actor that's just not good. You'd be box office poison. A musician would lose their sex appeal, sadly, to the masses and most rely on that for their image and success.
