it wouldn't surprise me if it were a PR stunt of some sort, I mean that's what the entire kardashian & co brand is fueled by

Maybe he's gender fluid, meaning he doesn't want to be boxed into just one gender. One day he wants to be a woman, the next day maybe he feels like a man. There are some people like that.
