The resentment and bitterness from these petty fans though, it's been two years already
Exactly hunty, it's been 2 years already, and you haters are still posting Gaga's twitter screenshots while going off topic just to ignore the fact that Gaga's lead single > your fave's lead single.
Lol the scalping in here!!! The navy comes thru with receipts and logic..
The monsters with delusion and bitterness. R.I.P to that golden moment when your fav was relevant!
Some members in here comparing the GRAMMYs to tweets Gaga made.
I have literally seen it all. Because 4 tweets made Gaga sell over 1M+ copies.

Not the navy acting like Applause is a 'made for charts' kind of song with its verses about koons and pop colture
Yall need to accept that Applause was the bigger hit and the better song.
Poor navy, I am even starting to feel sorry for them ...............
Honestly I like Applause better but Rihanna's single was not very commercial or radio friendly for a pop singer. Perhaps if an indie act like Hozier sang that song it would've grown slowly and have been even bigger but with Rihanna people expected a typical pop song. Gaga's song had quirky lyrics but the EDM production was super radio friendly
I mean Gaga literally promised her fans to purchase and screenshot for a chance to meet her, like that isn't going to motivate her fans to buy the single
I still can't get over that tweet, omg
Her lead single leaked she just wanted to let her fans know it's being released EARLY. In those tweets she didn't even post the link to buy it on iTunes How in the world is that promo?
I wasn't here at the time all of that happened so that's irrelevant to me.
And i'm pretty sure the Navy wasn't the main ones who wished it would flop.
Almost every fanbase was feeding off the monsters suffering
And btw I reaaaally love Rihanna but FFS is very... lackluster. Even most of Navy know it. People just didn't want the song. Rihanna doesn't need that much promo so her song could become a hit
