UF>SYA
UF>The funeral dirge vocal wank that is OSD.
Let's not get it confused. Why couldn't Fantasy or ABMB have been #1 for 16 weeks?
Two is better than one. Mariah is the queen of the 90s at her time and Boyz II Men were behemoths, previous record holders of the longest #1 before Mariah

And UF is better? its called OPINION sistrens. I think SYA its a great song what makes UF better in your opinion?? I dont dislike UF but seeing people act like its a ****ing masterpiece is its a good catchy song nothing else nothing more. SYA its really meaningful because there are people who have followed the F&F movies for 15 years. Those are like cult movies of course I dont expect the gerls from ATRL to understand that. Not everyone loses F&F and Wiz fans/stans WIN. Its #1 UF had its time 14 weeks was more than enough.
Cult movies don't gross a billion at the box office
This song is tacky.
The idea behind it is tacky.
Using someone's death is tacky. Especially when that someone ignored the law and was speeding. TA-CKY.

It's only declining at this point, and SYA is maintaining its strong digital lead. I see it being #1 for a while before Shut Up & Dance replaces it sometime in May/June.
I don't get what the problem is here. I haven't seen anybody say the song is a masterpiece or revolutionary (if people have said that it's probably just a few people).
The reason lots of people are excited is because the previous #1 has been there for 14 weeks, so no matter what song replaced it it would've been a big event. Also some people are Mariah or Boyz II Men fans who might be relieved that Uptown Funk is dethroned (at least temporarily). Others may be fans of Wiz and Charlie, so will be happy to see them at #1 (I've never listened to Charlie before, but I listen to Wiz a lot so I'm happy for him although this is far from his best song imo). Some people may hate Uptown Funk or just be tired of it so they will be happy to see it off #1. Other people may be a fan of the F&F films or Paul Walker so this going #1 might mean something to them in that sense. Other people might just like the song, but I'm sure even those people will be the first to admit it's not musically revolutionary (similar format to Airplanes, Love The Way You Lie, etc.), but that doesn't mean they're not allowed to like the song.
THAT'S why a lot of people are happy or excited about this. I don't think people are overrating the song tbh.
Approx points for this week (1k sales = 1m airplay = 75k streams)
1 See You Again 464000 + 24000 + 333000 = 821000
2 Uptown Funk 145000 + 157000 + 195000 = 497000
3 Sugar
4 Trap Queen
5 Thinking Out Loud
6 Earned It (Fifty Shades of Grey)
7 Love Me Like You Do
8 G.D.F.R.
9 Shut Up & Dance 136000 + 70000 + 61000 = 267000
10 Style
Wrong. Uptown Funk is bottom of the barrel garbage. See You Again deserved the #1. Paul Walker fans win. Mariah fans win. Wiz fans win. And fans of good music win. Everyone wins except the few Bruno stans that already should be happy with their 14 weeks.
Sorry but you're wrong and/or have extremely bad taste.
See You Again is a tacky, dated funeral song. End of discussion.
