for Turkey, it's a delicate topic, their country was always very fragmented and the they killed or expelled all the other ethnicities and took their lands. Armenians were the majority in large parts of eastern turkey so if they admit to the genocide they will also admit at stealing their land
however if they did not do that, they would have likely been the ones killed or expelled, there was mutual hatred that is true...

I like how this Pope is slightly more liberal but to be honest he needs to think before speaking, he has said lots of questionable things that offend countries.

As for Turkey, well....I agree with you they need to stop. All countries make mistakes.

In history classes, they teach everyone in here that it didn't happen at all, and Armenians killed Turks more than Turks killed Armenians. So people in here think it's an undeniable fact that Armenians are lying. :/

I believe there are lies at both sides stories, but it's not my business to tell what happened at that times.

I feel sorry for Armenians who lost their lifes on this.

It is troubled, very much so, and there were definitely Turkish lives lost well before this. The major difference was that with the Armenians, it was systematic and planned, a genocide and that is the issue. It's very sad. I hope that one day everyone there will be able to help each other for what has happened to the other.

Bye at Erdoğan but there are no harsh proofs that it happened. There was NO SYSTEMATICAL KILLING. Learning a few things from Internet and Wikipedia doesn't make you an expert on this. Both sides died and I feel sorry for who lost their lives.

It's very funny when people don't acknowledge what Armenia did and still doing in Hocali, Azerbaijan. The history doesn't go one sided.
