New York radio personalities in general are trash. From Star & Buckwild to Miss Jones to Charlemagne to some of the folks at Hot 97 in the morning. They love to trash talk celebrities and pretend that if it wasn't for them they wouldn't have careers. Just a whole bunch of baloney that's just radio fodder. Not everyone likes to hear that ****. Find some substance to put in your interviews and jokes.
Char isn't personally attacking Ci, he just reiterates what most people on twitter/trolls say about artists. It's just his personality and how he is. Ci was an easy target because her album didn't do well, and Char feeds off of that sort of stuff.
I wish he was there during the interview cuz it would have been interesting. I didn't watch it and I'm sure she did great, but interviews without him are pretty boring because he adds the controversy/needed criticism to make the interviews feel lively. He could be more respectful of course but he's not a bad person.
