STW is so good live, agh. If anything, this album seems like it is going to be meant to be performed for a live setting. the other albums had more songs that were stand still and sound beautiful, Ya know? This one, WKOM, STW, HBHBHB, and TE all are up and dancey and moving. Idk

The thing about a festival is that you have a very diverse crowd that has in theory been out all day - the way you treat such a crowd and entertain them and keep them energetic is different from how you treat a concert crowd. Her running around keep the crowds energy up.
The set being only 55 minutes also cut things down, so we didn't get to see Third Eye, though she might be keeping that one back until it gets a real release.
Her headlining gig in Lollapalooza is going to be truly epic though -by then she will have the whole new album to play plus the last two....

However, I do agree that I'm puzzled as to why it was performed. I feel like she didn't perform it during Cetemonials era much, and now it's made an appearance twice this era already

Its a nice quite song, and perhaps she thinks it fits in better into the new era, as it is softer and less instrument heavy than a lot of the other songs from Ceremonials.

I loved her running around the stage. We all know she sounds amazing live, but this era is her being more free and open, so it would make sense for her to lose herself in the music. The audience reacts a lot more when you interact with them, and I saw so many priceless gif moments of her dodging the security. Haha. I thought it added to the performance. I'm still recovering from it actually, was dancing around my house just now. This is why I love her. She knows how to own a stage.

Does anyone know the setlist off hand? I caught from All This and Heaven Too til the end
Florence is such an engaging performer. Her vocals were off but hey she was running and dancing like a mad women and her vocals were still better than most.
The part where she was running around in her bra during Dog Days was amazing

I love the new intense, dance-y rock-n-roll sound she's going for this album around.

Amazing show though! Only caught a few songs so I'll watch the rest later but agree that the brass adds a whole new atmosphere.

Check your ears, pls. What an idiot comment! ATHT is heaven.

All This and Heaven Too has wonderful, relatable lyrics. It's an excellent song, case closed :P
I just looked up what a "lifeline" is (from Third Eye), and it's so clever how she keeps saying that! It's a double meaning: either "a rope used for life-saving, typically one thrown to rescue someone in difficulties in water or one used by sailors to secure themselves to a boat" or "in palmistry, a line of the palm of the hand regarded as indicating how long they will live." I think, based on the first definition, the song is the "lifeline" she is throwing at herself to get out of troubled water and start picking herself back up and putting herself together
It fits the water/STW motif goin on in the album so well, and in terms of palmistry, it's like the love child of Heartlines and SIO/DDAO.
She's so clever it's not even funny. Her lyrics are pure poetry.

Ship to Wreck is a good MV of its own. But its kinda the same thing for the third time in row now - especially like WKOMT just in different surroundings. I expected something different.
Is her Coachella performance online ? I want to see it so bad.

My thoughts exactly. For the next video I want something like 'No Light, No Light' (her best music video by the way). It would be so great.

Agreed. The videos this era are cool (very indie), but also are blending together. I like how they are all telling s story kind of, but WKOM has been the greatest by far. Time for something to step it up with.

I thought this was one of her best videos. It showed a lot of the inner struggles, plus was very well shot. Usually these types of videos come out tacky, especially if it's in someone's home.
But it's time for the future hippie smash Queen Of Peace to slay us all.
Plus I wonder what video her and Vincent were filming in Switzerland.
