Can Tinashe be as successful as Mariah's illegitimate daughter from Tommy?

No. Tinashe is a real artist and 90% of her album (as well as all her mixtapes) have a sound that radio doesn't play. She won't sell out to a radio friendly, pop driven sound to become an A lister like Ariana did. And I love Ari, so no shade.

I believe if she has the right radio friendly material, her career would take off at least in the same way "The Way" did for Ariana.

Except that she does have some songs that are radio friendly and can go mainstream.
all these stargate produced songs on her album all sound good and like they could fit on radio, also it doesn't look like she's bothered to have some songs that will sound mainstream, 2 On is one of the most mainstream URBAN songs i've heard in a while so I think she has a chance.
