Fashion! is one of the most underrated tracks on ARTPOP. I have no respect for people who drag it.
Will i am and Gaga would be a perfect collaboration duo. Before you start dragging Will I am, remember what quality he served on BEP's 2003 and 2006 albums, as well as The Dutchess.

ARTPOP is life and I honestly wouldn't be the person I am today had it not come out. Flop or not, thank you so much Gaga for releasing that masterpiece.

Yes because this is so kiii-worthy. If I had said this about Born This Way, everyone would be congratulating me on my bravery and strength and whatnot, agreeing, and telling their own stories of how it changed them. It's the same damn thing here, except everyone is hung up over its sales and so loves to drag it and pretend it never happened so they can sleep better at night.
Like I'm so sorry I love Gaga's "flop" album the most. Sorry I can't be with you all boasting all the time about how much I adore the 4.6 million seller The Fame, or the 8 million ww seller Born This Way. Yes, I do love those too, but they're not my favorite from her, so you wont hear me talking about them 24/7. That title goes to the 750k seller ARTPOP, and I'm proud of that. Drag if you will, I really don't care. I won't drag back. Do your worst.

Sis you can love Gaga's flop album the most, but saying that an album that has no deep message or empowering lyrics changed you/your life is tragic. BTW had the title track, MTN and many other songs meant to empower you so saying "I wouldn't be who I am today" for BTW makes sense, about Artpop? Not so much.
It's got nothing to do with sales or even quality. Fee free to believe that ARTPOP is her best album, that's your opinion and you're entitled to it, but how on earth does an album full of mindless bops change who you are?
By the way, I can tell you that for me ARTPOP was a disappointment ever since Swinefest. I watched it back then with my friends and we were all expecting much more. Honestly other than Applause, Artpop & Dwuw the rest feels subpar for Gaga. I use the album but listening to it I feel like it's a guilty pleasure.

All of this
I dont know how songs like Aura, Venus, G.U.Y, Jewels and Drugs, Applause, Fashion!, MJH could change your life
I mean, I may not be the biggest fan of ARTPOP, but there's no problem if someone is emotionally connected to it for whatever reason. Music speaks to people in different ways.

It helped me see the beauty in art and helped me free myself from a relationship that ended 3.5 years prior to its release that I was still hung up on. It helped bring me the happiest year of my life (2014). It just makes me...happy, which is something even more important in my opinion than just accepting yourself as Born This Way preaches. If you think it's pure trash, fine, that's your deal, but don't rag on someone who puts themselves out there on an anonymous forum. Ironically, that is what's trashy and low in taste. Album's affect people in different ways. ARTPOP didn't need the in-your-face method of Born This Way to touch me, and, contrary to what you're implying, that is perfectly fine. Born This Way, The Fame Monster, The Fame, and even Cheek to Cheek have all had their effects and changes on me as well, but not like ARTPOP, and if that's tragic, well, I guess I'm the queen of tragic. Crown me for all I care.
You know what, I kinda agree with The Night. ARTPOP may not have this "love yourself" theme like BTWs or lyrics telling you to be who you are but ARTPOP got its sound which is happy and light. I just not about the lyrics. Venus, Applause, G.U.Y. , Aura etc may not have those lyrics that can change your life, but it still got its own appeal which is it's beat, the way they sound, so energetic and positive that can make you happy.
Not every time you're like "I feel bullied, outcast, ashamed, caged" in life you can also feel sadness through different forms and I think, as I observe myself, listening to ARTPOP tracks can make you feel happy again, make you feel to strive harder and make you feel alive which I can say is the same as the way BTW's message change people's lives.

Preach!
And ignore those that live in the past. ARTPOP is amazing.
