Adele to go on a 2,000-mile road trip with son before "25"
Singer Adele delays her third album to drive 2,000 miles to Nashville America
The award-winning singer will ditch her multi-million pound mansion in Malibu for a 2,000-mile drive to Nashville, Tennessee.
The 26-year-old recluse was originally due to release her third record last year.
But insiders claim it could now be pushed back to the end of this year due to her trip with two-year-old son Angelo.
Our source said: “Adele loves LA but wants to see some of the ‘real’ America.
She wants to go on a road trip before her schedule starts getting busy again.
“And she wants to do the whole ‘driving across America’ thing properly, without the luxuries – sleeping in motels and meeting real people who don’t know who she is.
“She will take Angelo but it is not known if his dad Simon Konecki will join them.”
The insider said: “Adele finds Nashville very inspiring. It is an iconic destination and full of music history. But she also wants to remain low-key.
“She hates the limelight so a budget road trip is her way of rebelling against her superstar status.
She’s keen to visit some of the ‘honky tonk’ bars, listen to live music, soak up the history and basically do her own thing.”
Adele is also planning to visit Elvis Presley’s former home Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.
Details of the album, thought to be named 25, are a closely-guarded secret – although a more country music sound is expected.
Phil Collins has worked with Adele on a track and it was rumoured Lady Gaga had recorded a piano ballad with the Brit Award winner.
I don't believe this, especially if it's coming from the DailyStar. She's only on LA to work, not live their permanently so I doubt she's care about leaving it to begin with.
