It would be less popular and get less viewership. Here for it.
Is it just me... or is "The Lord of the Rings," "The Hobbit," "Game of Thrones," "Avatar," and all
of these "New World"/"Middle Earth" films and shows just boring, badly-acted, and overrated.

This book is so good so far
A summer's evening in Amsterdam and two couples meet at a fashionable restaurant. Between mouthfuls of food and over the delicate scraping of cutlery, the conversation remains a gentle hum of politeness - the banality of work, the triviality of holidays. But the empty words hide a terrible conflict and, with every forced smile and every new course, the knives are being sharpened... Each couple has a fifteen-year-old son. Together, the boys have committed a horrifying act, caught on camera, and their grainy images have been beamed into living rooms across the nation; despite a police manhunt, the boys remain unidentified - by everyone except their parents. As the dinner reaches its culinary climax, the conversation finally touches on their children and, as civility and friendship disintegrate, each couple shows just how far they are prepared to go to protect those they love.

WTH Avatar isn't even comparable to LOTR and GOT. I'm boycotting the Hobbit films.

Anne Hathaway is not a great actress. She should think her Hollywood sponsors for that Oscar. Same Jennifer Lawrence. These girls need to fad away...

True. I tend to love the grittier, darker sequels that seem to come with every trilogy.
The Hobbit movies were 100% unnecessary though.

I actually liked Avatar. It was really inventive, immersive and new imo. LOTR, Hobbit and all that mess i don't care for, though.

IDK why people hate Anne so much. She's talented and seems like a nice person. She's totally inoffensive.
I loved the Princess Diaries growing up (so gay I know) and she was great in TDKR and Les Mis.

Do they eat their kids/each other? P.S. I don't read books (I'm boring, I read science articles and scientific journals ) but my sister reads about one book a day and I gave her "The Family Fang" for her birthday due to your recommendation.
She loved it. Keep the book recommendations coming. It makes me look in the know.

"Avatar" is in that same type of field. The annoying people who like "Lord of the Rings" or
"Game of Thrones" are the same people who like "Avatar" and will go to see the next "Avatar" trilogy.
I want them dead.

Criticise the work of Tolkien and its adaptations (bar TH) even a little and you relinquish your oxygen allowance.
Non-negotiable.

Almost everyone I know that legitimately loves LOTR strongly dislikes Avatar (except me).
