Why couldnt y'all just praise Azealia for bringing some musical diversity to the hip hop genre instead of turning into another iggy vs azealia thread. Iggy has nothing to do with this thread and even if you dont agree that hip hop needs azealia, there is no reason to iggy as your human shield to take shots at azealia. Just give praise where praise is due. I would much rather listen to azealia hip-house beats than old recycled uninspired DJ mustard beats that is trending in hip hop right now

Iggy has commercial success, and Azealia has talent and critical acclaim. Neither one of them are particularly popular. So this needs to stop.

They are attacking her because they are bitter at her coming for Gaga.
Iggy isn't that popular. Most people dislike her, She gets dragged everyday. At least in the hip-hop community. I mean I don't know if you've seen the dozens of vines being circulated millions of times of people mocking her rapping and flow. She really doesn't have any respect as a rapper. Azealia definitely has MORE respect as a musician. People just hate who she is as a person.
If Hip Hop needed her they could've sided with her in 2012 when 202 was charting in UK.
No one cares or knows about her outside of Twitter/ATRL.
She can change everything

I would disagree with the notion that neither is popular. They are both pretty known outside of ATRL and twitter. Azealia's album charted pretty high for a digital-only (until recently)/unsigned artist and she just preformed at a massive festival and I dont need to explain iggy's popularity. Both are known by the public.
