Even younger generations than mine here are going to the clubs every week. It's crazy how Croatians can drink and party.

not a lot anymore but i used to go every friday. Well i live in LA and there was always so many people hmmm i got drunk way too may times. after a while it gets boring though but i would advise you to go in a group or at least with 2 people. there are always creepers looking to hook up with the younger guys

You should try it. I'd recommend trying to find a friend to go with (preferably 2+ but 1 is better than nothing). Even if you can't find anybody to go with, just get a bit tipsy and go by yourself and you'll be fine. Remember if you don't like it you can leave whenever you want, it's not a big deal. Just be friendly and open to people, but also don't be scared to be by yourself for a bit, I always go with big groups of people but there are times when you end up by yourself for a while, it just happens.

Once you make a few connections it's a lot easier as you'll keep bumping into people you know every now and then, and you'll make friends with their friends and so on. I like going in the smoking area as it's easier to talk to people there.

I'm straight, so I've only been to gay clubs a few times, but from what I've experienced they're pretty much the same as normal clubs (apart from the music, there's less hip hop and more pop/dance in gay clubs).
