Normally, I am glad when an NC city gets put included on Best of/Most lists but there ain't **** about Fayetteville that would be considered Iconic. There's only two things Fayetteville is generally known for, and that's Fort Brwmagg and J. Cole.
If you've never been to Philly you should come especially in the warmer weather.. its a blast. It's got a very european aesthetic look and its so affordable. Gorgeous stunning city with neighborhood for everyone
