Naomi is a legend but a huge bitch. She is acting like she didn't remember anything. You can say a lot about Tyra, but she is a sincere and humble sweetheart. Naomi is all about destroying the competition. I remember watching this interview 10 years ago and thinking 'Damn my thoughts about Naomi are being confirmed yet again'.
She displayed this behavior numerous times on her model show 'The Face'.
Tyra is a mess. but she is always sincere which is why I love her.
It's funny how she can disassociate herself from her negative feelings so quickly though. The way she tells the story of still being fearful of seeing Naomi to this day and then saying, "We're gonna have more, we'll be right back"
And the fact that she decided not to have a studio audience very dramatic but real.
LMAO It's like Tyra is really bitching to herself, embarrassing, she really shouldn't have done this but it was clearly for ratings.
she's such a lil bitch here tho I can't get over it when she was telling Naomi they are both victims of the model industry and tried to put her with her in her own world of victimization poor girl got DISMISSED

I think y'all missed the point. Naomi was Tyra's role model. Can you imagine meeting your idol after all those years and he/she happens to be a cruel person? That's like the biggest slap in your face. I definitely see where Tyra is coming from. Naomi definitely paved the way for black models, but she is not a role model because she is a negative and distasteful person. She is over 40 now and you would think she has matured but even in her 40's she begged Andy Cohen to fire Kenya from RHOA and I'm like what is this obsession with trying to be the only black girl in the industry? Especially if you know that Kenya is a huge fan of yours and has made that clear countless times...

I see where Tyra's coming from too. I've been terrorized by a few coworkers at different jobs for pretty much the same fundamental reason as her. The best newcomers are always seen as a threat by the veterans.
I'm glad Tyra made it despite Naomi's viscous ways.
