You can also try and come for GBTQ's usage of 'girl' and 'sis', but it is to blur lines and to escape the 'manly' stereotype many gay men are forced into becoming. It is a positive, unifying word, which empowers queers in a cis-hetereo society.

You could also argue that they were fetishising lesbianism for financial gain. That's not 'supporting LGBT rights'; it's pandering to the straight male gaze. Rihanna hasn't shown as much support to the gay community as Beyoncé (though neither is particularly outspoken). Frolicking with a fellow straight female sex symbol in a music video doesn't change that.
