Hmmm, I usually dont post here when rounds like this occurs but lemme post one since I just gotta share why I chose Slipped Away.

Slipped Away is special for Avril since its a song she wrote for her deceased grandpa who died while she was on bonezz tour. The song is about death and how it affects people who gets left behind after that death. I dont want to send another heartbreak song from her coz I know ppl here is tired of that.

And I can relate to this song so much. folks who follows Choose The Album game knows that so if this song is not the sad song you want to hear from Avril then Im sorry for not reaching your standards.

If I was the one who was picking Avril songs, I'd definitely go for more mainstream safe sounding sound, such as Wish You Were Here, or even When You're Gone.

I think that would be unfair, there are voters who gave it a 5 so i think it fits.

It's hard to choose cos sometimes we have to consider popular but safe songs versus risky album tracks. Take All by Myself for example, it's not even a Céline Dion original, obviously a playing safe entry and there might be better songs from her French albums, but yeah.
