As a heterosexual I'm always curious if the word homosexual is offensive? Another important concern I have is.. are Lesbians consider homosexuals? I ask because every time the word is use by the media or politics they always show pictures of gay guys
I stopped and laughed after the first three words in the OP. Not sure if it is "offensive" but it is certainly rude. Just like asking someone how old they are or what gender they are. Keep it to yourself unless the right moments arrises.
I don't like how it sounds but that's cuz I only usually hear it being used in a negative connotation. I prefer "gay" idk. But if you're not using it in a bad way I don't see a problem.
I was watching the gay film "Noah's Arc" the mother of the groom shows up unannounced to the gay wedding to ask her son why is he marrying a homosexual and the gays looked shocked she said that word. The mother didn't know her son was gay
I didn't know the word homosexual could be offensive until a few weeks ago when one of my tutors told me. I was shocked tbh. Neve knew people could be so sensitive.
